Shveta Miller

Shveta Miller is the author of Hacking Graphic Novels: 8 Ways to Teach Higher-Level Thinking With Comics and Visual Storytelling. She taught English for 15 years in U.S. public schools and abroad and spent several years consulting with ed tech and curriculum publishers as a literacy specialist. Now, she supports teachers and students as an instructional leader for a school district in Oregon and serves as director of curriculum for the global nonprofit organization, Reading With Pictures. Though she tears up at every thank-you letter she receives from her former students, she finds it especially rewarding to impact student learning on a grand scale through her coaching partnerships with teachers.
