Richard Cate

I have been a professional educator for 51 years, five as a classroom teacher, ten as a teaching principal and 36 as the principal of Symonds School in Keene NH. My most significant accomplishments have been working within our community to continuously improve our school and school district. We have worked together to recruit quality staff and empowered them to work as a cooperative unit. We have worked together to maintain a steady vision of a quality school environment and we have been patient but persistent in addressing issues that limited our potential. We have worked together to be advocates for and defenders of our school and quality education.
