Joanna Marsh

Joanna Marsh is a primary school teacher in Victoria, Australia. She has taught in a range of educational settings, working with students from foundation (kindergarten) all the way to year 12. Joanna completed a Master’s of Education (in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a mastery certificate in Teaching Handwriting, Reading, and Spelling Skills, and held leadership roles such as year 3/4 coordinator and pre-service teacher coordinator. She received a grant to conduct a teacher-led research project on student engagement, focusing on engagement in literacy, which led to her presenting at two Primary English Teaching Association Australia conferences.
