Jim Spandikow

Jim Spandikow teaches eighth-grade science in the Vista Unified School District in California. He has been teaching for 30 years at the middle school level, where he continues to give students a multidimensional look at concepts in science. For the past six years, he has been involved in early implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards. His graduate work with Project Dragonfly at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, focuses on how to bring outdoor learning to students.
