I track research trends to ensure that Edutopia's articles, blogs, and videos are all backed by research while remaining engaging and relevant. I develop research-based content for social media, including the "Did You Know?" and "Jar of Jargon" series. I'm also part of the social media team, where I answer questions on Twitter, Facebook, and on our site.
Before Edutopia I was at the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley, where I studied the connections between informal and formal science learning for elementary school students. I was also a researcher for STEM digital libraries and other educational technology programs at UC Berkeley. I have a Master's in Education with a focus on language, literacy, and culture, and my undergraduate degree is in Sociology.
