High School English Teacher
I am a National Board Certified English teacher at Hayes Freedom High School in Camas, Washington. Over my career, I have pursued a variety of teacher-leadership roles, including designing and launching our district’s new teacher mentorship program, helping to build our district’s professional learning system, and training school principals about effective teacher evaluation and instructional coaching. A believer in strong unions, I have also served as president and lead negotiator for my local association.
