Eric Crites

Eric Crites is the principal of New Mexico School for the Arts, a dual-curriculum arts and academic high school serving talented students from across the state of New Mexico. He is passionate about creating programs that ensure that every student who enters the school--no matter what their starting point--has access to a four-year pathway to graduating ready for college. Prior to becoming an administrator, Eric spent 10 years teaching English and non-cognitive/soft skills courses in high school and middle school settings. He holds a master's degree in secondary language arts from Lewis and Clark College.
