Davina Ruiz has been an educator for 14 years, holding many positions such as teacher, coach, dean of school culture, etc. Davina is a firm practitioner of restorative practices and collaborative, problem-based interdisciplinary units of design. She is an assistant principal in New York City and the founder of eduGrind, an educational organization focusing on fulfilling her educational philosophy of not just teaching the subject, but the entire child. Davina strongly feels all aspects of a school are intertwined to develop mindful, empathetic, and resilient citizens.
