Without a job offer in place, he sold his home. Without a contract signed, he packed the car up and moved to San Diego to become a learning experience designer (teacher) at Design39Campus. Because, after 10 plus years of teaching and researching how kids learn best, he passionately believes schools need a complete redesign to prepare our students for their world. Billy, an Apple Distinguished Educator who teaches fourth and fifth grade, specializes in creating project-based learning experiences that are empathy-fueled and human-centered.
