Ashley Taplin

I am a secondary math specialist for a large public school district in Texas. I work with schools to implement professional learning communities, intentionally plan with teachers, and incorporate effective strategies in the classroom. In addition, I write curriculum at the secondary level and give professional development for our district. I have also been collaborating to incorporate social and emotional learning practices in our mathematics content by writing it into our district curriculum. Before becoming a specialist, I taught high school math and was an instructional dean.
