Alexis Tamony
Math Teacher
Alexis “Lexy” Tamony is a high school mathematics teacher at Sonoma Valley High School in Sonoma, California. Lexy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree from Saint Mary’s College. In her 19-year teaching career, she has taught every math class from sixth grade intervention to calculus. In 2015, she was named the Educator of the Year in the city of Martinez, California.
