Aisha Christa Atkinson, M.S., is a school administrator in the Greater Houston area as well as a board member for the Texas Council of Teachers of English Language Arts (TCTELA). Known best for her advocacy work for the needs of multilingual learners and students served under special education, Aisha is also committed to the recruitment and mentorship of educators of color. Her writing credits include features in Education Week as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Principal Project and Teacher2Teacher.
